GI Film Festival

The second annual GI Film Festival had 160 entries!

If you are unfamiliar with this particular festival (as I was), it was created in response to the constant anti-military bias of Hollywood productions. I recommend visiting their website, even if you aren't going to be visiting Washington, DC in the near future; they have lots of videos and some merchandise for purchase to support their efforts!

The founders agree with me: the reason Hollywood war movies are tanking is not, as Hollywood supposes, that Americans don't want to see movies about the war. It is that Americans don't want to see movies where American troops are the bad guys!
