The Los Angeles Times reports a growing schism within the ranks of al 'Qaeda. Partly due to escalating casualties of Muslim bystanders, and partly due to losses incurred by American military responses, more and more al 'Qaeda operatives are beginning to question the guiding philosophy of their terrorist organization.
